RE: Canton Lake Water Levels
Dear Ray:
This is to confirm my plans to meet with you and representatives of the
Canton Lake Association, the Town of Hartford, and the Town of Canton to
continue the DEP's investigation of water level complaints on Canton
Lake.
The meeting will begin at 9 AM on Friday, August 23, at the DEP's offices
in Augusta (Conference Room LW-3). The DEP's offices are located in the
Ray Building on the campus of the Augusta Mental Health Institute on
Stone/Hospital Street (Route 9 south, on the east side of the Kennebec
River.
Please come to the meeting with any records you have of past water levels
and be prepared to answer questions about past maintenance and operation
of the Canton Lake Dam.
