This program determines the "break-even" gallons; i.e. the number of gallons of fuel that must be purchased to recover the cost of traveling to the cheaper filling station. The cost per mile is based largely on the cost of fuel. The true cost is the actual cost of each molecule of fuel that is currently being burned. In most cases, this is impossible to determine. This leaves two methods of approximating the cost. Please select which one you would like to use. First created September 13, 2005 ~ Last revised September 27, 2005 |
